Small Edwardian Silver Jewellery Box, Birmingham 1906

1900 - 1920
Description

This small and elegant Edwardian silver jewellery box is dated Birmingham 1906. Of serpentine form , the plain sides raised on four leaf-capped cabriole legs. The hinged lid opening to reveal a gilt inner lid and blue velvet interior.

Black Morocco leather base.

Hallmarks:

Makers marks : EC

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "g" for 1906.

Lion passant.

Dimensions:

Length: 7cm / 3.4 inches.

Height: 4cm / 1.3 inches.

Width: 5cm / 2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

No dings to the cover and the sides.

Good hinge.

Good legs.

No repairs.

Clean interior.
