George III period, in Sheraton taste, demi-lune marquetry inlaid mahogany console cum folder tea table, Circa 1790. This high quality console table, features an attractively figured solid mahogany top with round moulded edge. The top folds out to reveal a circular top. Supported by a double gateleg rear legs. Inlaid and marquetry panelled frieze. Square tapered legs with spade feet.
A high quality, handsome, period table, made from good early mahogany, in good working order and very much ready for use.

This table measures approximately 76.5 cm (30'') tall, 98 cm (38.5'') wide, 48.5 cm (19'') deep unfolded, and 97.5 cm (38.5'') deep folded out.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good original type condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Good colour, pleasing patina, and a good polish. Some minor odd marks and blemishes, in keeping with age and use. One small repair
