An unusual 19thc fruitwood money box in the form of an elegantly shaped stool....it is made out of fruitwood, probably cherry as it has a slightly reddish colour....it also has a shaped brass slot where you would put the coins in....very nice quality piece of treen and in excellent condition.
English. C1840-60.
