A Superb Hepplewhite Revival Sofa.

Description

A superb and very elegant Hepplewhite Revival sofa. Beautifully made in dense mahogany, the sofa stands on eight turned and stop-fluted legs with brass and leather castors with patera atop. The seat rail and back are fluted and the scroll arms are finely carved. The sofa has been expertly upholstered and is in very good condition. 930mm high, 1960mm wide, 740mm deep and 440mm seat height. English. Circa 1890.
