Description

This stunning silver & green guilloche enamel hand mirror was made in Birmingham in 1934 by the prolific Alexander Clark. It has elegant geometric lines, very much reflecting the style the Art Deco era. The vivid green enamel back with sunburst pattern. The front fitted with the original bevelled mirror.

Hallmarks:

AC for Alexander Clark

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "K" for 1934.

Registration pattern number.

Condition:

Very good.

The bevelled glass is in great shape with minor spots.

The enamel back is in excellent condition.

The silver handle in equally good condition.

Dimensions:

Length: 26 cm / 10 inches.

Maximum Width: 10cm / 4 inches.

Mirror: 10cm x 8cm / 4 x 3 inches.
