Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is a lovely size, quite petite yet with a generous work space on the top.
There are high quality brass handles and this sits on nicely shaped ogee bracket feet. The back is beautifully polished so this can be used as a free standing item.
We have recently had this re-polished to a high standard, the condition is excellent for its age. the top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport.
