Early 20th Century Antique Oak Monks Bench

An early 20th century antique oak monk’s bench with carved decoration. The monk’s bench has a flip over backrest that can be flipped over to create a useful table. The bench has turned pillars and a hinged seat that opens to reveal a generous storage space below. There are two decorative panels to the front. A well proportioned example of an early 20th century antique oak monk’s bench.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks and scratches to the seat (pictured). There is a replacement peg to the right hand side backrest. Overall, the antique oak monk’s bench remains structurally solid, sound and functional.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
