Description

A pair of wonderful antique Italian Renaissance walnut Sgabello hall chairs, Circa 1820 in date. They each feature a superbly carved coat of arms, a scrolling foliate decorated back, and a circular moulded seat. They are each raised on scrolling foliate carved supports and are a highly unusual and quite rare pair of Italian walnut 'Sgabello' chairs.
The craftsmanship on display in these hand-carved chairs is truly something to behold. These are presented In excellent condition, having been cleaned and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation. Dimensions in cm: Height 122 x Width 44 x Depth 48 Height 51 - Seat Height Dimensions in inches: height 4 foot x width 1 foot, 5 inches x depth 1 foot, 7 inches, height 1 foot, 8 inches - seat height.
