~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
It is made of cream marble mounted with ormolu (finely gilded bronze). The movement is held aloft on four marble pillars with the ormolu pendulum swinging gently below.

The dial is prettily painted with floral swags between the numbers on porcelain enamel. It is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt brass hands and convex glass.
The French movement is by Japy Frères and is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original with ormolu sunburst. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask and we will send you a link.

Condition of the ormolu is excellent, beautifully clean and bright some slight discolouration and wear. One pillar capital has been replaced at some time. The dial is also in excellent condition with just some nibbles around the winding holes. Marble has some discolouration, staining and nibbles to the edges.
