The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
It measures 22cm (8 5/8") wide and 3cm (1 1/8") high.
Some surface wear in places and rubbing to the enamel on the rim. A small foot rim chip and the foot rim is ground. A couple of craze lines on the reverse from firing and as Chelsea often charmingly did to disguise firing faults, a leaf has been painted over the top.
