Description

A superior quality Victorian Period burr walnut games table. The Demi lune top veneered in the finest burr walnut and having boxwood and sycamore inlaid detail. The top swivels and opens to reveal a storage area for cards and counters etc and a baize lined playing surface. Raised on a fluted turned column with fine acanthus leaf carved detail, burr walnut collar with studs and standing on four finely carved cabriole supports with brass and porcelain castors. English circa 1860-1870 in stunning condition
