Description

Circa 1910-1920 a large candle lit lantern in good condition with the original glass.

It is 36cm in height and the base is 18cm in diameter; with the handle upright, it is 53cm in height.

The previous owner had a brass handle made for the lantern, it may never have had one before, or may have been suspended from a ship's ceiling by rope or chain.
