Description

A most elegant 19th century eight day striking mantle clock circa 1875. The JAPY FRERES 8 day movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell which gives a lovely mellow chime. The gilt neo-classical case surmounted with an urn over a dial with Roman numerals, flanked by maidens, the case inset with floral porcelain plaques.The clock is supplied with a key, pendulum, and the original glass dome.
