The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.

It measures 18.3cm (11 1/8") wide by 21.5cm (8 3/8") and 5.5cm (2 1/8") high.
Some craze/glaze lines front and back here and there, including a small collection to the left most tip having become a bit discoloured. A small chip to the reverse lower tip. Some surface wear to the gilding, mainly to the left edge and some rubbing to the enamel scene around the edges associated mainly with the high points of the fluting. The main focus of the scene is fine and it is still a pretty dish for use or display.
