A French brass cased striking carriage clock by Richard & Co, Paris.. A brass case with an enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Signed to the dial noted retailers 'Howell & James, London'. The original escapement. Numbered 185. Circa 1895.
