A mahogany stand with alabaster insert. The four turned and fluted columns rise from brass collars secured to a shaped under- tier which is finished on all sides with a gilt metal beading. Terminating in elegant swept legs. The top is surrounded by a pierced raised brass gallery. All the gilt metal mounts retain the majority of original gilding and are complete.
