Antique Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers

A particularly attractive antique Georgian oak chest of drawers. The straight front Georgian oak chest has an arrangement of two short over three long, graduating drawers, each with decorative brass handles. The country made oak chest is raised on bracket feet. The chest has a good rich colour and patina throughout. A rather lovely example.

Height – 94cm / Width – 105cm / Depth – 52.5cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top (pictured). There are some losses to the beading to the drawer fronts. The antique Georgian oak chest of drawers remains structurally intact with the drawers running well. There is a small repair to the moulding (back top right) and some shrinkage to the top. A well made piece of Georgian oak furniture with plenty of country charm and character.
