Antique Smoker’s Bow Chair

A neat, 19th century antique ash and elm smoker’s bow chair or captain’s armchair. The smoker’s bow chair has a spindle back with shaped arms. The solid elm seat is raised on four turned legs with a double H stretcher.

Height – 80cm / Width – 67.5cm / Depth – 64cm / Seat Height - 46cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and mild staining to the seat (pictured). There is fading to the arms from years of use. The smoker’s bow chair remains structurally sound with good tight joints. Overall, a good example.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
