A Gorgeous Edwardian Silver & Tortoiseshell Inkwell

Description

A superb small silver inkwell from the elegant Edwardian era. This charming example is capstan in form with a hinged lid and glass inkwell liner. The body is decorated with a reeded knot border which is repeated to the lid. The lid has a beautiful tortoiseshell panel with intricate silver pique work. A beautiful example for dressing a desk, practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
