Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A rare bookcase.
This bookcase features lovely solid Mahogany construction and carvings to the 2 cupboard doors either side of 2 smaller shelves. Under this are 2 larger shelves with clover leaf fretwork to the sides complete with reeded edges all around. Inside the right hand cupboard features pigeon holes for organisation. This simple yet elegant bookcase is in an outstanding condition featuring its original lightly faded rich Mahogany colour and french polished finish. The cupboard doors are lockable via its original key which operates both doors and the keyhole has a lovely diamond ebony inlaid escutcheon. We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this item, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
