19th Century French Angle cut Tulipwood Jewellery Box. A striking example of a 19th century French jewellery box dating back to c.1850. The box is in a angle cut tulipwood, crossbanded in king wood and inlaid and edged in brass. It has a king wood floral shaped panel to the top centre with a bras name plate with initials to the centre. We have professionally relined the interior with handcrafted marble paper. The box is complete with a working lock and tasselled key. It measures 22 x 16 and stands 10cm high.
