Antique Mahogany Campaign Chest

A well proportioned 19th century antique mahogany campaign chest of drawers. The campaign chest has an arrangement of two short, over three long drawers, each with recessed brass handle. There are brass mounts to the corners and carry handles to the sides. The campaign chest splits in to at the mid-section. A rather good example.

Height – 94cm / Width – 107.5cm / Depth – 51cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and staining to the top and front (pictured). There are some chips and losses to the veneer in places. The campaign chest remains structurally solid and sound. There is some beading missing to the bottom drawer. Evidence of old historic wood worm to the back – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
