Ebonised Dressing Stool C.1880

19th century
Description

Superb quality late 19th.c. ebonised dressing stool c.1880. 24" diameter sprung seat freshly upholstered in the Howard & Son signature print fabric. Ebonised and moulded hardwood frame with turned and fluted legs joined with shaped X stretchers with a turned finial at the centre. Raised on the original wooden castors with gilded brass collars. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
