Description

This is an exquisite cased set of six silver gilt & guilloche enamel coffee spoons. Enamelled coffee spoons were very popular from the Twenties to the Fifties and this is a lovely example. The back of the bowls decorated WI

Fitted in their original Morocco leather case, the interior lined with cream satin and blue velvet.

Hallmarks:

B.E.S Co for Barker Ellis Silver Company.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "u" for 1969.
