Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The quality is amazing & it’s beautifully made from solid mahogany inlaid with satin wood. The front has an inverted breakfront design, and the pedestals have an unusual tapered shape. It sits on elegant yet sturdy legs, and has a polished back, so can be used as a free standing item.

There are fantastic original brass handles which have fine and intricate details. The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, with a beautiful patina. The drawers are all solid oak lined with fine hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition throughout for its age.
