Description

A late Victorian hoop back Windsor chair dating to c1900. It has a solid elm seat and solid elm back panel with typical pierced design. The hoop and stick back and arms are made of ash. The chair stands on an H frame stretcher with turned legs. A wonderful example of an antique handmade chair, the colour and patina are warm and rich. A good clean chair in excellent condition, sturdy, strong and well constructed.
