A fine small partners'' desk by Edwards & Roberts, Tottenham Court Road, London. Classic Edwards and Roberts design with square inside corners and rounded outer edges, inset moulded panels to the sides of the top, with turned wooden knobs and beautiful original faded mahogany colour and patination.
The drawers are all mahogany lined with handmade dovetails and solid mahogany bottoms and all run smoothly as one would expect from a desk of this quality.
Lovely colour with a nine drawer configuration opposed by a three drawer and two cupboard arrangement.
Working original locks and with working keys for all drawers and cupboards, new finely tooled black hide with blind embossing and blind tooling.
