Antique Scottish Spice Box - With Eight Internal Spice Pots

This is a lovely late 19th century Scottish circular spice box .The lidded box has a label saying Spicebox and a picture entitled ''Kirk Bradden''. On the main circular body of the spice box there is another image of Peel Castle and Ferry Bowness. The box has an attractive scalloped edging and a well turned handle. It is a good colour. There is a small an old repair to the outer circular box, which has been very well done.. Inside are all the original eight lidded spice boxes, which is unusual to find.
 
These would have been made as souvenir goods for the wealthy.The box measures only 15cm w x 9cm h.
