The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch, 1956.
The watch has a 19-jewel automatic movement, calibre 471, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Omega name and the serial number, 15,291,640, dates it back to 1956.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is rose gold plated and the case back is stainless steel. Overall the case is in good condition, just light surface marks, nothing too serious at all.
The winding crown is a later plain replacement.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep (with some marking) and outer minute markers. There is some age related marking across the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in an Omega presentation box. The box is a bit tatty but still good to have, and the main closure tab has broken but is still present.
