Description

A neat and well-proportioned antique pine trunk or blanket box. The antique pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior with a small storage compartment and drawer to one side. The trunk has recessed brass handles to either side and exposed dovetail joints to the corners. Raised on a plinth base with short, block feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic antique condition throughout with various signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and staining to the top and all sides (pictured). There is heavy staining to the front (pictured) The trunk remains structurally solid and sound. A particularly good quality example.
