18th Century Oak Bible Box

An 18th century oak bible box. The antique bible box has carved decorative patterns to each side, and is raised on barley twist legs. The hinged top opens to reveal a useful storage space, finished with a coat of natural wax.

Height – 53 cm / Width – 62.5 cm / Depth – 50 cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including splits within the rectangular lid (pictured). The bible box remains structurally solid and sound, with some movement to the lid, this is due to the original hinges being present. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
