Description

Gents 1940s Lanco wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement, Langendorf 1022, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the nicely shaped lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is general light marking but overall the condition is good for a 1940s piece.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed Lanco, a brand name first registered by Langendorf in 1913. It is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
