Description

A superb antique Victorian period reading stand in walnut. This was made in England & dates from around the 1860-1880’s period.

It is a lovely size, and of great quality. It is perfectly sized to be used as a music stand, a reading stand over a bed or armchair, or even as a stand to hold menus and such in restaurant or events settings. The wooden section is height adjustable and can be extended out horizontally.

The walnut stand is supported by a brass column, and sits on a beautiful cast iron base.

The wood has been re-polished and the metal work has been given a light clean, it is in lovely condition for its age, with no damage to be seen. There is an original makers label on the back side, seen in the images.
