Krave Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
This charming swinging boat has a wooden seat, a name plate to each side which reads Osprey and would have been lovingly made for a child in around 1900 to play in but today would make a stunning show piece for a shop window display, florist, bar, hotel, restaurant etc or prop.
It sits flat on a surface for display but it would be easy for you to add chains / rope so it could be suspended.

Date: Late 19th century / early 20th century - c1900.
Dimensions: 96 cm (38") Length. 36 cm (14") Width. 28 cm (11") Height.
Weight: 3.640 Kg.
Condition: Good used antique condition with small chips, knocks, cracks, splits, wear, old repairs and some old paint splatters leaving a wonderful patina and a charming look. Some old worm holes which have been treated as a precaution.
Please note that only the swing boat is included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
