Antique Waltham pocket watch, 1908.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely. The 620 grade is a very nice quality 15-jewel movement with patterned plates, a Church 1892 patent regulator and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled Sun model by the Birmingham based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has a little unevenness to the hinged case back but otherwise is in good condition.

The glass lens is in good condition with just minor marking from use.

The signed dial has a couple of faint hairline cracks to the outer edge between 11 & 1 but you have to look quite closely to see it.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
