Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The caddy spoon displays an excellent array of fine Imperial Russian craftsmanship; the gauge of the silver in hand feels very sturdy for such a compact item, yet the intricacy and delicate detailing of the enamelwork is stunning.
The balance of colour and geometric patterns is delightful, especially considering how small the item is.

Whilst it is challenging to convey through digital photos, in person, the finesse of the workmanship is further apparent and can be fully appreciated as all the intricate embellishments fit in the size of one's palm.

The handle is further decorated with enamelling and a section of a twisted design conjoins the bowl to the handle.
The spoon lends itself not only as an exceptional decoration for a collection/interior setting but if one wishes, it could be used practically with a tea caddy or perhaps even as a sugar spoon.

The spoon is marked with Klingert's makers mark "G.K" and a Moscow 84 stamp (1891).
This listing is for the tea caddy spoon only. All other items may be purchased separately.

CONDITION
Good Condition - The spoon is in good antique condition considering its age. Please note some minor enamel loss is present towards the neck of the spoon. We have photographed these to overstate them and in person, due to the small size of the spoon, it is not so apparent.

Please refer to the photographs to examine the condition in further detail.
