This 19thc. mahogany library chair was made circa 1830.

This 19thc. mahogany library chair has the fine turned front legs with reeds ending on brass cup castors, with the tapering arms with leather armrests above. The frame has light moulding running on the front edges.

There are loose leather buttoned cushions to the rear and seat. The cushions have been re-upholstered by our specialists who hand dye and finish to look as though they have been there all the chairs life, the original coverings were torn after more than 100 years of wear. These can now do the same now they are ready for use.
