Late 19thc Ash and Elm Windsor Chair C1890

Description

A good example of a late 19thc hoop back Windsor chair. It has a seat of solid elm with beautiful colour and patina. The frame, legs and stick back are made of ash, the pierced carved back panel is elm. It stands on an H shape stretcher with strong turned legs. Lovely in all its parts, strong, sturdy and comfortable with warm colour and patina.
