17th Century Dutch Oak Cabinet Circa 1650

Description

Rare mid 17th. century Dutch two part Zeeland kast or cabinet in oak with ebony inlaid panels. The front decorated with geometric mouldings and ebony panel and with carved lions heads. Each part with two doors with original iron locks and having a central oak lined drawer. . The paneled oak sides inlaid with ebony diamonds. Original oak central shelf to base. Boarded pine back. All in fine un-touched original condition, but with few missing bits of moulding. Wonderful rich colour with great waxed patina.

Size; 59" wide, 60" high, 24" deep.
