A Substantial '6ft x 4ft' 19th Century Country House Oak Antique Partners Desk. The rectangular top retaining the original leather writing surface and cross banded in oak. The front of the desk having nine rectangular oak lined drawers with Georgian Style pierced brass handles and the reverse side having three real drawers and six 'dummy' drawers, which open to reveal storage area for files and a shelf. With panelled solid oak ends, the whole raised on an oak plinth with inset castors. In superb original condition, stunning colour and patina, there is wear to the leather consistent with age and use.
