Mountaineer Climbing Ice Axe.

Description

This very long antique ice axe which dates from the early 20th century is a good size at 96.5 cm long, has a bronze fitting and has a wonderful patina.

This decorative ice axe has seen lots of use and would make an interesting decorative piece for the home, ski lodge, bar or would make a super prop.

Material: Steel head. Wood handle. Bronze fitting.

Date: c1910.

Length: 96.5 cm (38").

Width: 29 cm (11 1/2").

Weight: 1.188 Kg.

Condition: Good used vintage condition with the usual chips, dents, rust and wear leaving a great look. Interesting display items, home decor or decoration. Please see pictures.
