SARDINES WERE A DELICACY IN THEIR EARLY DAYS AND WERE PRESENTED IN BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED AND DECORATED DISHES, ( A FAR CRY FROM TODAY AND THE TYPICAL IMPORTED TINS WE ARE USED TO!). THIS COLLECTION WAS MADE BY A LOCAL LADY WHO LIVED IN A CORNISH FISHING VILLAGE AND BUILT THE COLLECTION OVER MANY YEARS. TO BE USED OR KEPT AS A COLLECTION AND DISPLAYED THESE MAKE A SUPERB SPECTACLE AND A LOVELY REMINDER OF A MORE GRACIOUS AGE.
