Description

Early 19th.c. mahogany dressing table or wash stand chest of drawers c.1830. Original 17½" x 23½" oval mirror plate within a mahogany frame, angle adjustable on shaped and carved supports. Original black marble top with a raised gallery to the sides and rear. Over two short drawers with their shaped fronts continued as an apron on the sides plus three long drawers. Well figured flame mahogany veneers laid in a symmetrical pattern across the drawer fronts with turned mahogany escutcheons. Oak drawer linings and original locks. Moulded plinth veneered to match and raised on turned mahogany feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
