Description

Scottish or Welsh 19th Century Highland River landscape, with heather and Aspen trees.
A classic 19th-century river landscape with great colour, brush strokes and atmosphere. Cameron mostly painted landscapes scenes in the Highlands of Scotland and this is a classic example of his work.
It is not known if he exhibited at any Academy's but his work is very competent and well observed.
The painting is oil on canvas and is framed in a Vintage English gilt wood frame.
Period: 1890-1899
Measurements: 16" x 20"
