Description

A wonderful and highly decorative late Victorian cake stand dating to around 1890 / 1900 with the two original plates designed to fit neatly into the two tiers.

Both plates are decorated with pierced or reticulated sections, almost heart shaped, depicting a wonderful Oak Leaf & Acorn vignette.

As useful today as 120 years ago in superb condition. The stand footprint measures 11" x 9" and stands 12" tall. Each plate has a diameter measuring 9".
