Description

Lovely hand painted decoration on this large Meissen German porcelain plate/dish, 29.5cm in diameter. The flowers are delicately executed with the gilding framing the images. Meissen mark to back - 1852-1870 with two slash marks through the cross swords symbol - identifying the quality level of the piece. It has two small firing flaws in the glaze on the back, no visible issues to the front - gilding in good condition - some minor rubbing.
