An attractive Chinoiserie 4 door side cabinet of canted form and having black ground lacquer with raised painted and gilded decoration. The top having typical Chinese scenes with gilded thumb moulded edge. The 4 doors decorated with wonderful Chinese scenes including pagodas, fishermen and river front with various junks and traders etc. The doors open to a black lacquer gilded interior with shelves and a centre cupboard having a useful drawer with brass handle. The whole raised on a conforming plinth base with further decoration. Condition- Very good with one or two blemishes associated with age and use. Dimensions:- Height…31.75’’/ 81cm.
