Antique Victorian Mahogany Cylinder Desk C1880

Antique Victorian Mahogany Cylinder Desk and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a low gallery back to the top and cylinder front with original brass handles which opens to reveal a very nice interior . There is an open compartment to the centre with four drawers to each side with original handles and with pigeon holes above. It has a leather skiver which raises up to reveal a storage Compartment . To each pedestal there are three pine lined drawers with original brass handles and raised on a plinth base . The top removes from the pedestals for ease of transporting.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
