A GEORGIAN MERCURY WHEEL BAROMETER

with a swan neck pediment to the mahogany case. Silvered engraved main dial and thermometer with a hygrometer and level. Banded ebonised and satinwood case edging.

John Corti of Bristol is recorded in Banfields' 'Barometer Makers and retailers' book as working between 1810 and 1830.
