Oriental Camphor Chest or Trunk

A particularly attractive early 20th century oriental camphor chest or trunk. The camphor chest has decorative carved detail throughout and a brass lock plate to the front. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior. Raised on decorative shaped and carved feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good vintage condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places including some age-related marks to the front and top (pictured). The camphor chest remains structurally solid and sound. The front bows slightly in and there are some small losses to the front left corner (pictured). A good clean example.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
